What is Lectio Divina?

Lectio Divina is a spiritual reading or some sort of holy reading. There are 4 stages of Lectio Divina which is Contemplatio, Oratio , Meditatio and Lectio. It also includes talking to God or Jesus and you could put a on

a scripture.

Why do we use Lectio Divina

We use Lectio Divina to look over the passage and to speak to God or Jesus about our worries. Lectio Divina is a short period of time of relaxation which is also know as Meditation. Meditation also gives you questions while you Meditate.

What are you trying to achieve?

We are trying achieve our relationship with

God and to tell him about your concerns

about anything that's on your mind

What do we do during Lectio Divina prays

We meditate, talking to God , reading a holy reading. We also Contemplate which means that we look over the passage so we could do something in life.

Is Lectio Divina a good way to

Pray?

I feel like it is a good way to pray because there are other things to do when you pray for an example Oratio. It is also a good way to pray because when you are Meditating you are in a state of relaxation when you could be asked questions about the passage and to think in the persons opinion while you are there.
