Yes, the distance of the object from the light source does affect the size of the shadow, the closer the light source is to the object, the bigger the shadow is. As the distance increases, the size of the shadow decreases.































I had a pack of cards and shined a torch on the side. I shone the torch at different distances and measured the size of each shadow.
