Well it’s safe to say after a slightly later than planned departure from school we had a smooth coach journey to our destination, Kingswood. The children were all very excited as we approached the steel gates and the entrance to their home for the week.

On arrival we were greeted by our lively coordinator, Mackenzie, who set the children their first task which was to make their own beds! Surprisingly (or unsurprisingly) this proved quite a challenge for most of the children!Once they had their beds prepared, we headed down for a tour of the grounds before a much needed lunch break.

After lunch, we split off into smaller groups and enjoyed a range of activities. One group had fun with aeroball whilst another conquered the dizzying heights of the high equilibrium. The children supported each other and cheered each other on throughout. The outdoor laser tag proved a hit with many as they worked in two teams to defeat one another.

The children enjoyed the tactical and strategical elements of the game and almost forgot they were hungry (again)After the activities, we queued for dinner (school style) and enjoyed a warm meal and a brownie for dessert. To end the evening we went on a night walk equipped with our torches! It was a lot of fun especially for the boys who enjoyed trying to jump out on each other.

All of the lovelies are now tucked up in bed and ready for an action packed day tomorrow!
