April 10th 1912

9:30 - 11:30am

passengers started boarding the ship at

Southhampton.

12 Noon

The Titanic set sail on her maiden

voyage.

6:30pm

reaches cherbourg france and

picked up more passengers.


April 11th 1912

11:30am

the titanic reached queensland ireland

and grabbed more passengers

April 12th and 13th

they were sailing in calm waters.


April 14th

There were 7 reports of iceberg warning that day.

11:40pm

Frederick Fleet spotted an iceberg dead ahead of the ship and crashed in to it on the starboard bow (right side).

11:50pm

10mins later water had poured in and risen 14 feet in the front part of the ship.


April 15th

12.00am

the captain said that the ship can only stay afloat for only a few hours, he also gave the order to radio for help.

12:05am

5mins later they said to uncover the lifeboats and get the passengers and crew ready on deck. There was only room for half of the estimated 2227 passengers.

12:25am

They began loading the lifeboats with the women and the children.

The distress call was picked by the Carpathia, 58 miles away and set sail to resue the passengers.
