Looking at classification of animals and plants! We discovered how classification started and how it has advanced and become more complex!

In these pieces of work there is the order of how animals and plants are classified and we looked up the Latin name for an animal and mixed it with another type.

Facts-

The order of the classification groups come like this: Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus then Species.

The old Latin name for the animals and plants were sometimes five words long!
