the book review: the winter wolf

There once was a girl named Amelia who went to Allan house for Christmas with all her family. One of her cousins had a dog, but Amelia was afraid of dogs. Even though her cousin told her that he was the sweetest dog he was so big and she was afraid of him. One night she found a diary she decided to read it. The diary belonged to a boy named Noah who lived in 1873, she began to read it and it was very interesting the boys sister died and his dad was a hunter they found a wolf that was killing animals and they were trying to find her and kill her. One day it was snowing and she went out to play but the dog was there named Freddie, so she went into the attic to read the diary. a few minutes later she woke up in a stable in hay. Then a boy came in and asked her how she got there, she told him that she doesn't know how she got in here either. He told her that she looks a lot like his sister and then she realized that he was Noah. She told him that she read his diary and that she knows that he's hiding the wolf pup. He didn't know how she knew that but she offered to help. First she got some clothes that belonged to Noahs sister, she met the pup named Frost in the forest. They got him some food, but then Amelia needed to hide, Amelia wasn't scared of Frast so much as she was when she met him. A snowstorm started in the forset, they hid in a tree hole and in the morning Noah came. He was scared he lost them he thought he wasn't going to find them. He told Amelia that they found where Frosts mother was and that they needed to safe her. He got some boots because of snow and started running trying to get there before them. They got there in awhile. They found his mom it was kind of difficult to get her trust. She quickly nodded as a thank you and ran away with Frost. They hid the paw tracks and ran away. In the morning Amelia woke up in her attic again with Freddie laying on her lap. It was time to open Christmas gifts her mom said they got I'm the living room with Freddie her cousin was surprised that she wasn't afraid of Freddie. She got a picture of her (her mom didn't know it was her) and Frost she was very happy her mom said 2I thought she looked like you even tho I didn't know if you would like the wolf@ She said that she loved it and in the dairy he wrote ''22nd October, 1873-later still I fell asleep writing, and when I woke up, she was gone. They're both gone. All I have left of them are drawings in this book. If it wasn't for those, I might have thought it was all a dream. But I know that they were real. I ought to be sad, but I'm not. I'm remembering. One day, ill paint them both just as I can see them in my head. I do miss them. I miss Frost jumping around me when I brought him scarps. I miss him rolling in the snow, and making his coat glitter. I miss him barking at the birds teasing him in the trees. And I miss Amelia laughing. She thought everything was funny, and she was so brave, just like Grace. (his sister) I know Amelia was scared of Frost. I never saw someone go that white when he first came up to her. But she didn't run - she didn't even cry. I couldn't have saved him without her. I wonder where are they now, both of them>? My little snow sister, and my winter wolf?
