Christmas the festive season

It`s finally here,

this time of year,

The roast turkey is cooking,

big and tasty looking,

The angels are singing,

while the church bells are ringing,

People are dancing under the mistletoe,

as everyone`s faces start to glow,

The star shines brightly on the Christmas tree,

as everyone stares at it in utter glee,

Santa pulls the reins for his sleigh,

he`s almost here hooray, hooray,

He hopes he can deliver all the presents today,

To get them in time for Christmas day
