Red blood cells transport oxygen. White blood cells protect against disease.

Blood platelets help the blood to clot. White blood cells help

to send a alarm to tell the

other functions to get ready

to fight away unwanted

germs. There are many red

blood cells but not as many

white blood cells.

Veins return blood to the heart. They are very simlar

to the artries because they

transport blood at a lower preasure than the artries

the veins are not as strong as the artries.
