We have loved listening to the traditional tale of 'The Gingerbread Man', we especially enjoyed baking some to eat! The children have fully engaged in the bakery role play this week, baking cakes and gingerbread for their friends and teachers. The playdough has been very popular this week, the children have been using the rolling pins and cutters to create the characters from the gingerbread man story. We have also been very busy mixing paint to find out which colours make brown so that we may paint a gingerbread man. The children have produced excellent work, and they look very smart with their sparkly embellishments.
