Anyway, here's a quick prologue chapter!

Today was a normal day, like every single day of my life. I just wish something exciting would happen! I couldn't wait until I received my Hogwarts letter, which Draco and my parents have been constantly talking about, and now I feel like I know the entire place already. Father has been pressuring me to be in Slytherin, and I suppose it would be nice, but then, what would happen to me if I broke the Malfoy tradition? He's been telling me WAY too much that I am a pureblood and should be proud of it, that I was superior to Muggle-borns, which he called 'mudbloods'. I absolutely HATE that term, and why else should I think I was superior? I do have the other Slytherin qualities, like ambition and determination, but I feel that I'm different to my parents somehow. We have such an enormous house, we had about five rooms each, and I only use two of them. Draco came into my room, and I could sense that he was bored. There's not really much to do around here, except mill around and wait for our letters. I knew that they weren't going to come today and that they were going to come tomorrow but I still couldn't help feeling annoyed/ excited.  I want to go to Diagon Alley, but Mother says that 'it's all in good time dear' or 'we can't go because we don't know what to buy for you yet' and 'just one more day'. I am so unbelievably bored. I just realised that Draco was in the room, and it must have looked very odd, as I figured that I had been staring at a blank wall for the past two minutes. 'You alright?'

I'm fine, just thinking...'

'Want a game of chess?' he said, pulling out the brand new chess set that we had bought recently.

'Alright,' I said, as I couldn't really think of anything else to do. Usually, I always win chess, but in the first round, he won! It surprised me a bit (I must say), but I was pleased for him, I guess he must have been practising with Mother. On the second round, I won, but it was very close, extremely, extremely close! He actually improved, and it might be more fun to play chess with him now because it's a challenge. After we finished chess, I slept, not having anything else to do. I woke up sleepily, and I checked the time, it was already five thirty. I didn't know that I had slept that long, so I got up and just wandered around the house, it was like the millionth time I'd done it today. Tomorrow is when my Hogwarts letter comes, but it feels like forever right now! Tick tock tick tock tick tock..... it's almost as if an endless clock timer is ticking in my head. I remembered that we would be going to Diagon Alley, and I suddenly perked up at the chance of meeting fellow Hogwarts students.
