It was a rainy afternoon when my sister, mum and I decided to go shopping in a store called Wallmart. We went to buy supplies for my brother's confirmation. We took the bus to avoid traffic because the roads were jammed as a result of the flood.

We arrived at the stores and did our shopping. The weather wasn't nice at all. It was really really bad; it was like a hurricane. The trees were shaken by the relentless wind as it blew through their branches. It rained all morning. When we went out of the stores everyone was rushing to their cars. People were all soggy wet and everyone got angry about the rain. You could hear everyone mumbling and complaining about it. Some said it was stupid, some said other things, but my brother loved the rain. He jumped in puddles and mud piles. Meanwhile, people were walking fast covering themselves with umbrellas. The weather didn't show any sign that it was going to change for the better, so my mum decided to call my father to pick us up.

We waited for my father outside the stores under a huge tree. When my father arrived we were all soaking wet. We jumped into his car and headed home.
