Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs is one of the three people who created the Apple company. He got the name for his company after spending some time at an apple orchard. Did you know that the Disney movie Brave was dedicated to Steve Jobs himself? Steve Jobs' occupation was an inventor an entrepreneur. He was born on the 24th of February in San Francisco, California 1955 and only died 7 years ago in Palo Alto 2011 October 5th.

His Early Life

When Steve Jobs graduated from high school he attended a college named Reed College, but he then found the classes boring and dropped out. After dropping out he took a video game job with a game maker Atari. Later on in life, he became more and more interested in philosophy. So he quit his job and took a trip to India and tried to look for "enlightenment". After several months studying the religion Zen Buddhism he returned to California and worked for Atari again.

Products

Steve Jobs began hanging out with Steve Wozniak and both the two of them were interested in computers. Steve W had his own personal computer which he had invented himself. Steve J was impressed and he said they should start their own company. Wozniak agreed and Steve suggested they should sell the computers he made. In 1976, they had created the Apple computer which was called the Apple I. Over the months they started creating more computers in Steve's garage. Did you know Steve was only 21 at the time? Wozniak started working on the next product named Apple II. Steve could tell at the time that it was going to be a great product to sell. He then sold the idea to investors persuading them to invest on buying the company.

Apple Is Out

Sadly, the next two personal computers from the computer, the Apple III and the Lisa were unsuccessful. Years and years later Steve Jobs had died and took a very hard life fighting against cancer after he found out he was diagnosed with cancer in 2003.
