Microsociety blog week 2.

Currency

This week in Microsociety we talked about currency and what it meant.Currency means a system of money in a particular country such as dollars,Euros and pounds. Sometimes people do not use money, instead they use valuable objects like diamonds, gold bars, cows and shells.

After we discussed this,we got into groups and played a game of monopoly. We all discovered a strategy, saving your money or investing it.My strategy was to invest my money and turns out i won the game.If we had more time it would make a difference because we could think about our decisions for longer rather than having to rush it.

Then we had our trip to Lavender Hill Magistrates Court and there we had to re-enact a court case called Denis in Fulham. My role was Mrs Marther Mary Mummy and luckly i was said to be un-guilty.On the other hand Denis was said to be guilty for smashing a cars window and stealing the sat-nav,his punishment was to be fined for a week. After we also visited the cell, they were cold and dark.

I have enjoyed this week of microsociety and am looking forward to the next.
