Once upon a time, when animals could still talk, when the north wind blew so furiously as it was the middle of winter, snow fell down of the town of Phantasmorania, but then the sun came up and snow melted away, the early days of spring had started! Somebody awoke at 7:00 from her beautifully carved bed, and that little somebody was a little girl named Lauren Elsworth. She yawned lazily and got up to look out of the window.” Lauren! LAUREN!! Your going to be late for school!” her mother called out. “The school bus will be here soon!” Lauren quickly dressed into a jersey and jeans, then she went into the bathroom to get ready before she went down for breakfast. She jumped into the bus just in time as it was just about to puff of. Lauren was really exited as her class was going on a trip to the shelly seaside. The journey from school to the seaside was 5 minutes only. When they got there the first thing they did was to sit down and enjoy the view. Sometime later they discovered the living things in the rockpools and built sandcastles. For a rest they had some lunch, Lauren had cold chicken sandwiches and homemade cookies. Last of all they swam in the sea. Lauren was a graceful swimmer, and she enjoyed swimming, so this was a special treat for her. Before they went, Lauren spied a ancient, dirty piece of paper half hidden in the sand. She reached to grab it but hadn’t enough time to study it. When she got home, Lauren switched on her bedroom light and sat down at her desk. It seemed to be a sort of old parchment showing a map to some place on a island. Lauren was thrilled!“Let’s see,” said Lauren in a very exited but nervous matter. “It seems like this island is near my home and not very far out to sea! She soon figured out what she was going to do. I’ll just set my alarm for midnight, and prepare my rucksack and take Timmy with me (Timmy was her dog). That night she decided to keep awake…she wouldn’t have slept anyway. At 12:00 she stole out of bed, put on her coat and shoes, then she took Timmy and her backpack. Soon she had found her way to the seaside……….. “Were off!” cried Lauren excitedly, boarding her fathers rowing boat. Using the map to guide them was a little hard because Lauren had never experienced such things before, why she was only ten! But soon they got there. It was a little cold and lauren pulled timmy closer to her. They soon set to work following the guidance of the map, and after an hour or to of hardwork and digging, Lauren’s spade hit against something wooden and hard! The surface
