At New Year please talk with your child about their dreams and goals so that we can share them when we return on Thursday 4th January 2018. For example you could ask them what they find tricky or would like to get better at and talk about ways to practice and improve.

If you have not yet provided a named (with your name) stamped addressed envelope, please can you send this in either on Monday 18th December or on the first day back on Thursday 4th January. Please also complete the consent form for the walk to the post box. You will need to complete this and return it to school before Friday 5th January 2018.

We will be collecting in the target sheets during the first week back, if you have not yet completed them, please add in your comments about how your child has been getting on. If your child is in Foundation 2 please continue to practice the Humpty Word Wall in fun ways.

During the second week back we will be talking about our favourite presents and writing our thank you letters. We will then be posting them to you on Wednesday 10th January. When you receive your child’s letter please write and send a reply back to your child via the school. We will then read these with your child with their permission.
