place the egg into a bowl carefully filled

with white vinegar.


Allow the vinegar to cover the an egg

completely and let it sit undisturbed,

for 24 hours.


If you soak an egg in vinegar the

egg shell will absorb the acid and dissolve.


The calcium carbonate will become

carbon dioxide gas,

that you see as bubbles on the shell.


This makes an egg feel rubbery

and look like a bouncy toy ball.
