Festival Of The White Flame

Amazed by the beautifulness of the forest, Kamal

wandered slowly looking around for suitable trees to mark out

for the tribe to cut. He knew never to mark the white, silver birch (the tribes sacred tree). Tomorrow was the celebration of the white flame were all the townsfolk would gather round and sing hoping for them to send the sacred white flame of the tribal gods.

The day of the festival arrived men were swimming down the peaceful river holding garlands of colourful blossomed flowers shining in the pearlescent moon light as the bonfire was lit and the people cheered.
