Our new teacher for this term is the lovely Mr Pye. I will tell you the story, from when he was born, through the countries he has visited, until the moment he stepped foot in the Flamingos classroom.

Early life:

Mr Pye was born in Southampton, a few years back. When he was young he had a vision of becoming an astronaut or a builder. He went to a primary school called Hamble were he enjoyed learning about Geography and Science, he wanted to know more about the world and human nature.

Education:

After Mr Pye completed his secondary years he went to university he studied two different languages which were French and Thai. He also studied Tropical Geography. After University he then took a one year teacher course.

Jobs:

Mr Pye had several jobs. He was a scuba diver instructor in Mexico, while he's not teaching. He also trained as a chef. Then he was working as a math teacher in a secondary school.

Traveling:

Mr Pye travels a lot, and has been to many places. He spent 3 years in Asia, and loves Thailand, he also worked in Hong Kong and worked there, he also learnt to dive there. He spent the last 8 years in Central America to learn about a new piece of the world. He also visited other amazing places like Mexico, Nicaragua and Honduras.

He lived half of the year in Mexico, he did a lot of cave diving there, this is his hobby. He loves making maps and loves to relax on the beach. Mr Pye has now spent half of a year teaching in Kent.

Mr Pye is a new addition to this class and I'll be looking forward to working with him in the future.
