On this blog, I have once again included the ongoing skills that I would like the children to practise over this half term. Regular practice of these skills will help them enormously as they are the building blocks of Maths and English.

Finally, there are the instructions of how you can access J2Homework. There will continue to be an English and Maths homework set on J2Homework each week.

Make a photo montage of prehistoric monuments. You can search for the best images online and download them onto a word document or J2E.

Write your own prehistoric adventure story. Will you set it in the Stone Age, Bronze Age or Iron Age? Make sure your story reflects the time in which it is set. It could be like the story Stig of the Dump which we are reading in class..... Perhaps someone from prehistoric times finds then themselves in 2021 or perhaps your character goes back in time........

Find out more about rock art – human-made markings placed on natural stone.

Draw your own or a friend’s pet in the style of a prehistoric cave painting.

Make a 3D model of a Bronze Age settlement, making sure it is historically

accurate.

Research the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age history

in our your local area. Present and share your findings in any way that you wish.
