Microsociety

week 2

This week in microsociety we discussed different currencies around the world. we had lots of different currencies to discuss. We learned that in notes there is a little picture so you can tell if the note is real or not. There is loads of different currencies. here are some:

pounds

euros

pakistani rupee

dollar

this is not me

On friday we got the chance to play monopoly in school! On our tables the boys won. At the start me and Loic teamed up and then zohaib joined as well. then the girls teamed up and it ended up boys vs girls. Obviously the boys won. lol

in the end the boys ended with £122 and the

girls got £108. it might have made a difference

if we had a bit longer because the boys and

girls could buy more properties and gain more

money from the people that land on their

properties.

Also on friday we all went to lavender hill magistrates court. A cool fact that i learnt was that 95% of the criminal cases go on in the magistrates court. we all looked at the cells and re acted a criminal case. I was the criminal Dennis Lightfinger and i was in court for breaking a car window and then stealing a sat nav. when we finished the play we decided if he was guilty or not. We decided that he was guilty sadly. we had lots of fun and really enjoy doing microsociety!!
