The Prefix 'un' (Week commencing 19 March 2018)

So now the oracy presentations are over it's time to get back to our weekly spelling. A few weeks ago we learnt about the prefix un. A prefix is a string of letters that we add to the beginning of a root wood which changes its meaning.

The prefix 'un' means not.

Example: happy and unhappy. We use unhappy to say that someone/something is not happy.

Task: Here is your chilli challenge of words. Choose the set of words that you will find most manageable. Here is this week's strategy that you may want to try out. Remember that if you prefer you can use other strategies that you have used in previous weeks too. We aim to give you as many different strategies that will help you that you can choose the ones that work for you.
