Diwrnod Jeans for Genes day 2016

To support and celebrate the charity JeansforGenes, all pupils and staff paid to wear their favourite pair of Jeans to school on Friday 23rd of September 2016.

Mae'r elusen yn gwneud gwaith hanfodol o ran codi ymwybyddiaeth a rhoi cymorth i bobl sy'n dioddef o anhwylderau genetig ac anableddau genetig.

"Individually, genetic disorders are rare but together they affect 1 in 25 children born in the UK - that's more than 30,000 babies each year."

The school managed to raise a great £175.21 to donate to this cause.

CogURDD

This year the CogURDD contest was greatly anticipated.

The young chefs had to create a cauliflower Tabboulet.

The judge was Miss Niki, the head cook from the school - a chef of great experience.

The winner was Alaw who now goes on to the next round. Good luck and we look forward to hearing all about it!

Eleni rhagwelwyd yn fawr y gystadleuaeth Cogurdd. Roedd llawer eisiau bod yn rhan â'r gystadleuaeth goginio ac roedd cyffro mawr yn yr iard chwarae.

Roedd angen i'r cogyddion ifanc i greu Tabboulet blodfresych hardd. Defnyddiant gynhwysion ffres, iachus yn y pryd fwyd.

Y barnwr oedd Miss Niki, prif gogydd yr ysgol - cogydd o brofiad gwych.Marciwyd am y cyflwyniad, taclusrwydd a lliw yn ogystal â blas terfynol.

Yr enillydd oedd Alaw sydd bellach yn mynd ymlaen i'r rownd nesaf. Pob lwc ac rydym yn edrych ymlaen at glywed amdano!

Years 3 and 4 - Cardiff

In February 2017 some pupils from Years 3 and 4 had the opportunity to stay at the Cardiff Urdd camp.

Whilst in Cardiff they took part in many fantastic, once in a life time activities.

Gweld y Senedd

Teithio i'r Principality Stadium a cymryd daith o amgylch y cae chwarae a'r ystafelloedd newid.

Mae pawb wedi mwynhau aros i ffwrdd o adre' am y tro cyntaf.

Sioe Arad Goch ym mis Chwefror

Daeth cwmni theatr Arad Goch i'r ysgol i berfformio sioe am gwrth-fwlio.Roedd ganddo neges bwysig iawn o beidio â sefyll yn ôl ac i siarad dros eich hun a'ch ffrindiau a chyfoedion.

Cafodd ei fwynhau gan ddisgyblion flynyddoedd 4-6 yn y ffrwd Cymraeg a'r Saesneg.

Ar ôl y sioe wnaeth y disgyblion i gyd gymryd rhan mewn gweithdai gan yr actorion.

Cyfle gwych i bawb.

Arad Goch theatre company came to theschool to perform a show about anti-bullying.

It had a very important message of notstanding by and to speak up for yourself and your friends and peers.

It was enjoyed by years 4-6 in both Welshand English streams.After the show all the pupils got to takepart in mini workshops held by the actors.

A great opportunity for everyone.
