Week 1 Microsociety Blog

In class we talked about scarcity and how scarcity of resources starts economies and interacting with other countries to get the resources they need.

We played a shape game and we had to make fair trades and work together to make a perfect shape. We had to use the resources given to make the shapes or to get the resources we needed, and we talked about the difference between first and third world countries.

We read the story JUSTENUF and when Abun Dance broke down we talked about the different choices the captain has of how she should share out the resources they have.

We had to come up with a name for our society so there were five names that we had to choose from that each table group had to make up and then we voted. Then we looked at some flags and discussed what the shapes mean so then we designed our own flag.
