One summer holiday I went to the Lake District for a weeks holiday with my family. At the end of the week we came across an old mine.  Dad said "Lets have a tour around the mine." During the tour we came to a replica of a tunnel; it was built to show what children my age would have had to climb through when children worked down mines. Our tour leader asked if anybody would like to crawl through. I thought "just how do we fit in it though?" It was so small. I'm so glad I didn't live long ago when children worked down mines.
