Roman workshop

On Tuesday the 10th of January 2017 we had a roman workshop with two people called Clare and Greg.We acted out the romans and pretended that we were them. Some of us were emporors and some of us were battle men and some were even patrol men working for the emporors. I myself was an emperor called Nero. I think I was the last emporor of rome. Anyway while we were doing our workshop Clare and Greg taught us a tecnice of fighting that one of the roman emporers used. This was called the turtle. The turtle is when every battle man holds a shield and comes into a clump and there is possibly no way that a spear can get in, better in thier sheilds they have a slot for swords to go through, so if anyone tries to use a sword on the turtle then they die.This way the emporor Augustas would always win battles and concer alot of areas and countries.Did you know that the romans made the celts be extinced? Well now you do.This is because the celts lived in scotland and the romans had concered Britan.
