DINOSAUR PLANET
We are looking forward to welcoming some of you into school again for our third week. If you are working at home then please continue to work hard and send some photos and let me know how you are getting on this week.
ENGLISH
*Task 1 - Click on the book 'Little Croc's Purse' by Lizzie Finlay and listen to the story. What did you think of the story? What was the
important message in the story? Draw a picture of Little Croc and write in a speech bubble to say what he would do with the purse. Remember to use the word 'I' to start.
Task 2 - Choose a character form the story - either Little Croc or Murdoch and write a character description of them using the pictures and the storyline to help you. Draw a picture of the character you chose to illustrate your work.
*Task 3 - Have you ever lost anything? Write what you have lost and say how it made you feel?
Task 4 - Do you like to tell jokes? This week I want you to find and write three dinosaur jokes. Make a simple book of jokes and write your answers on the back page.You can use the make your own book template if you wish. Read the jokes to your family. Did they like them? Choose you favourite joke and write it on the blog this week!
WHAT DOES A GIANT TYRANNOSAURUS EAT?
Answer: Anything he wants!
Task 5 - Read the story 'Stop Telling Fibs!' and answer the questions.
Choose your level 1*, 2* or 3* and off you go. Remember to use a full
sentence to answer the questions.
Task 6 - Make a suffixes fortune teller. Follow the instructions and
use the suffixes -ing, -ed, -er and -est to read the questions and find
the answers.
