Signs of spring are slowly appearing and depending on the very changeable weather, we are planning to walk around the school grounds to look for changes and new growth. We will also be learning about the life cycles of chickens and frogs in addition to the Spring Fever sessions (for Foundation 2 only). If you have a child in F2 and have not already done so please refer to the school website for information about what we will be learning about next week. Your support and discussions with your child are key to ensuring that we learn about healthy friendships, our bodies and how to stay safe.

The Great Foundation Easter Bake Off!

As part of our Enterprise fund raising, children and parents in the Foundation Stage are invited to take part in a competition to make the most creative Easter Bakes on Thursday 29th March. The cakes will be on sale at the Easter Eggstravaganza Event. Your creations will be judged by our School Catering Manager and she will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes to children in F1 and F2.  Please ensure your cakes are nut free. All monies raised will be used to buy resources the children have requested within the Foundation Unit. We look forward to seeing your super creations!

For the challenge this week we ask that you spend time with your child talking and looking at signs of spring so that you may plan your marvellous Easter Bake Off entry.
