The Giraffe is an African even toed ungulate mammal ,the tallest living terrestrial animal and the largest ruminant . Its species name refers to its camel - like appearance and the patches of color on its fur it also has a grey and blue tongue. It is also very popular in books like the Grumpy Giraffe which was a really big hit . Giraffes live in hot places such as South Africa and even the Zoo .Baby Giraffes are 180cm which is the same height as 10 years old child . The reason why I choose this animal is because it really stands out and is different from other animals cause its really tall strong.
