Should Jim escape from the workhouse?

I think Jim should escape because nobody would like to get hurt and he gets beaten quite a lot. Lots of kids have fun and talk but he cant do that in the work house ,if he dose he will get hurt. It also wouldn't be nice to stay inside for the rest of his life and if your family or friends doesn't live in the workhouse you wouldn't be able to see them.
