Flostsam

BY KHADIJA

Once there was a little boy digging in the sand on the beach. He saw a crab like creature. He wanted to take a closer look at it so he used a magnifying glass. He then saw a normal crab. He quickly grabbed his spade and bucket and headed towards it. As he was so focused on the crab, not realising there was a huge wave heading towards them. It was too late for him to react so he was swallowed by the huge wave with his bucket and spade flown in the air like a balloon. Luckily he landed back on the shore with his feet covered with seaweed. Then he found a underwater camera. He ran to his parents and showed it to them, but his parents could not figure out what to do with it, so they showed it to the lifeguard but he didn't know what to do with it either. He then laid down on the beach and patiently tried to open it until he could finally open it. so he took out the film and quickly took it to the studio to print the photos and bought a new film too. He waited curiously outside the studio for the photos and then ran back to the beach as soon as the printing was completed. He then curiously went through the pictures and was shocked to see strange kinds of underwater creatures like... fish with propellers, octopuses living in a home like humans, tortoise with seashells design like castle on it's back, a hot air balloon with a puffer fish as the balloon, aliens and sea horses and fishes living together, and a huge star fish. He also saw a picture of a girl holding a photo of a boy who is also holding a photo of another boy. At first, the picture looked weird, but then he became confused and more curious so he used his magnifying glass to have a closer look at the picture. He wasn't satisfied so he used a microscope. He could see three boys and two girls each on a different size of circled shape photos holding a picture of someone on the beach. He then kept on looking at the printed pictures again until his mum came to tell him to leave as everyone is leaving . He was to focused on the pictures that he didn't listen to her. Then he took a picture of himself. Then then there was a big storm that blew away the camera back into the water. Before it could drown an eagle picked it up. A little girl picked it up from the shore. The end.
