We have taken advantage of beautiful weather this week, and spent lots of time outside. On Tuesday, the children worked hard decorating Father's Day cards, and drawing a picture of their Dad (or Mum) on the front. They also cut out and decorated Father's Day trophies.

Our class caterpillars continue to do well, and the children have been excited to see that the caterpillars have formed their cocoons! The children have had lots of fun with spider-related activities, including weaving a class "web" out of string, trying to catch toy spiders down a long tube, and joining in with a "spider dance". They have also noticed spider webs outside.

To help the children keep cool in the very hot weather on Friday, we made a makeshift "paddling pool", with cold water for the children to put their feet in. They loved it!
