Careers Week: My Job as a Receptionist

This week is Careers Week! In Mount Stewart Schools, the staff have given the students a chance to take up a role in the school in-between 27th January – 31st January 2020. All of the students received an application form. From the caretakers to the ICT teacher, we have had a chance to apply to all of them.

My Job as a Receptionist 

Today (27th January) I have been helping the receptionist with her work. I have been doing

jobs like answering the phone, delivering post to teachers. Now that I have had a chance to be a receptionist, I understand how important Mrs Calliste is to the school. Without a receptionist, our school would be hectic. More importantly, the school would not be safe as people could just walk out and inside the school. It has been really fun so far. I wonder what else I will be able to do?!
