The surprise by Pasupathi Sivaruban

I was out.  In the dead of night. All alone until... I heard something. Was I dreaming? Maybe not, it was cold and I could feel the gentle breeze flowing towards me. Was I sleepwalking? One thing for sure is that I couldn’t open my eyes. I heard a growl. Gulping I ran in the opposite direction, getting hit by all the obstacles. It was painful! I tripped. I open my eyes, there right in front of me, the moon where I saw it when I was 4, at this place. Around me I could see all my friends, my teacher and the head teacher. I check my watch. It was 12:00 am. They came with a cake and sang the birthday song. It was best way to start secondary school was to go camping on the first day of school the 7th of September, on my birthday.
