Year 2 Half Term Homework

Oracy project- My Favourite Dinosaur

We have been learning lots about dinosaurs this first half term. We would like you to tell us and your peers about your favourite dinosaur for a few minutes. Over half term you could put together some notes or diagrams to help you present after half term. Unfortunately you cannot bring any paper copies into school at the moment but you can use hwb and J25 or you can send a photo on Dojo to your teachers. Hopefully we can listen to you all throughout the week.

What we are looking for:

• What your favourite dinosaur is
• Give reasons for it being your favourite
• Facts about your favourite dinosaur
• If you really want to impress you could compare your favourite dinosaurs to other dinosaurs.

Success Criteria:

• Speak clearly with confidence
• Give reasons and explain your choice
• Use a range of vocabulary
• Show good listening (in school)

Please can I stress this is nothing to worry about, it is something fun to share with our wonderful Year 2 team!
