On Sunday 5th May, I went to see a Gaelic football game. London was playing Galway and I was supporting Galway because that is where my dad is from. We brought my dads friend and we sat down in great seats.

The game was tighter than I thought it would be. Normally teams from Ireland come to London and beat them by lots, but Galway were lucky they won. London missed a goal which would have put them one behind and they missed two points which would have put them ahead. It was London 1-9 to Galway 0-16. It is normally exciting when it's close but this game was not really that exciting and it got quite boring at times . In Gaelic football the goals look the same as football goals but the posts extend higher than the cross bar when you kick it over the crossbar and between the posts you get one point and if it goes in the goal you get three. You are allowed to hold the ball in your hands, in in fact you normally use your hands. After the Game,we went out for dinner and then I went home and went to bed.
