This week in Maple Class

This week in Maple Class has been quite interesting... We've been to the Royal Festival Hall, finding out our secondary schools and begun making a movie using the iPads and the Mac computers.

We went to the Royal Festival Hall to perform 7 songs called Sing Sing Sing, Haven't Met You Yet, Wonder, Forever Autumn, Disco Lives, Lullabye and The Beatle Medley. It was quite exhausting and we both got home after 11.00pm!! It was an experience and it was a real treat that we'll never forget(just because we have a CD of the performance, which you can buy for £12)

During the week(Monday-Thursday) we had the Book Fair in the main hall everyday after school.

On Wednesday Father David came to our school to hold an Ash Wednesday we all had ashes on our foreheads to remind us that we are dust and to dust we shall return.

We came to school in our pyjamas on Thursday to celebrate World Book Day. A man called Andrew talked to us about making movies and we'll eventually make our own to accompany the book Ratburger.

We're all excited about our secondary schools as well!!

If you surf Youtube well you may find a video of our performance. If you do we hope you enjoy it!Tune in next Friday for the latest in Maple Class. Bye!
