A verb is a word that is used to describe an action or a verb can be used to describe a state (that's feeling something) or can even be used to describe an occurrence (that's something happening).

I was running around the garden.

What Is A Pronoun?

Pronouns (words such,as,he,she,him and her) are words to make a names in sentences shorter.

e.g: With out pronouns: Riley went outside.

With pronouns: He went outside.

as you can see the name has changed to he which is the pronoun.

What Is A Adverb?

Adverbs are words that tell you how something happens

e.g The lawn mower slowly cut the grass..

slowly is the adverb because it describes how the lawn mower moves.

What Is A Passive Verb?

A passive verb tells you who did something

e.g active sentence: Jake made lunch

passive sentence: lunch was made.
