1) The Anglo Saxons came from Germany and Scandinavia.

2)They lived from 543 to 793 ad.

3) They were first tribes two which were called the Angles and the Saxons.Eventually they came together and became one tribe which are now called the anglo saxons.

4) A famous anglo saxon king was called Alfred The Great.He drove out the vikings from his kingdoms.But a few years later they regained once again but this time they succeed.Sadly for the anglo saxons the vikings had demolished six of their kingdoms but one was not defeated and we now call that kindom Wessex.

5) They five main anglo saxon kingdoms were called Wessex,Northumbia,Kent,Mercia and East Anglia.
