Minecraft
Hi! This is my blog about minecraft. I will blog about this every week and I hope you will learn at least a few things from this blog. I hope this will help you survive in the massive wilderness of minecraft. I will help you be able to build amazing things and keep the evil creatures away. I think minecraft is a really good game for every age. Minecraft is a massive sandbox with no boundaries. It is on mostly all of the good consoles including PC, Xbox, Ps3 and tablet. There are 3 gamemodes which you can change while you are playing. The 3 gamemodes are: creative mode, survival mode and adventure mode. There is 4 difficulties called; peaceful, easy, normal and hard.
The creators are Notch (Markus Persson) and Jeb (Jens Bergensten). Notch actually made minecraft however Jeb made some of it. Notch made all Alpha version and Jeb and Notch worked together to make version Beta. On the PC the update is Beta 1.8.2. You can play single mode and multiplayer with other people on any device. On PC you can play servers with people from around the world.
The mobs spawn at night time on easy, medium or hard. All monsters will drop exp which you can use for enchantment tables. There is too much mobs to list but I will talk about the most common. Passive mobs do not attack the players and will drop mostly food. The most common passive mobs are: cows, pigs, chickens and sheep (they give wool to make a bed to skip night and save it as your spawn point). There is also hostile mobs that will attack you whenever you get close to them. There is alot of different types of hostile mobs and the most common ones are spiders (only attack you at night), creepers zombies, skeletons, endermen (found in large numbers in the end) and witches. The creepers were not actually meant to be in minecraft, when Notch was trying o make a pig a coding bug happened and creepers got into the game. The two bosses are the wither and the ender dragon (you need to venture all the way to the end to beat him). Personally I think the wither is stronger because he demolishes almost everything apart from the strongest blocks. If you would fight the wither you would need to enchant all your armour, swords and bows if you would want to defeat him, but i will tell you about that later when you become a pro.
For a start you will need to make a quick shelter at night. If you don't have any building blocks just mine a quick base in the surface of the ground. At the next day go mining with enough wood to keep yourself alive in case you lose a crafting table or something. If you need any crafting recipes search it on google.
