Charles Robert Darwin... this is your life!

Charles Darwin, in full Charles Robert Darwin, (born February 12, 1809, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England—died April 19, 1882, Downe, Kent), English naturalist whose scientific theory of evolution by natural selection became the foundation of modern evolutionary studies.

Early life(and school)

In his early life, Charles was interested in nature; He would explore his garden for creatures and  come back with an armful of the creepy critters. He and his family were very rich. But when he was eight, his mum died. Darwin was sent to school in shrewsbury but he quickly became bored.

University

Darwin spent the summer of 1825 as an apprentice doctor, helping his father treat the poor of Shropshire, before going to the University of Edinburgh Medical School (at the time the best medical school in the UK) with his brother Erasmus in October 1825. Darwin found lectures dull and surgery distressing, so he neglected his studies.

Voyage

Finally, Charles Darwin was able to get a place on the beagle in which he sailed to many exotic places. When he was on the islands he found a bird that he had seen in britain. But this bird was completely different to the ones he had seen. He realised it had changed or evolved. He brought this idea home and it is still used now.

End

All in all, Charles is regarded as one of history's most inventive scientists:he exceeded limits of the law. He is very famous for what he has done.
