Hamburgers got their name from Hamburg, Germany where a cut of beef called the Hamburg steak. I love burgers because they are so delicious. I mostly like chicken sandwiches from McDonalds because I like boneless chicken.
Burgers are from the United States of America. A burger is a sandwich with one or more cooked patties of ground meat. German immigrants brought the patty to America in the 19th century. American soldiers brought a burger to Europe during World War 1.
