Micro Society- Week Three!
This week for Micro Societies, we went on a really fun school trip. We went to...(drum roll please)...
KIDZANIA!!!
For those of you who don't know, Kidzania is an indoor city run entirely by kids. That means
there are no adults allowed (apart from the ones running the activities). The activities are all different jobs you can queue for and do. You usually get paid for these jobs, but sometimes
you have to pay for them. Kidzania's currency is KidZos, and at the
end you can go into the Gift Shop and buy items with your KidZos.
Once you have enough KidZos, you can go into the Bank and
exchange them for a bank card. Kidzania is also two storeys high
(it has two floors).
When Year 5 (we) got there, we were given 50 KidZos to start off
with, and then as we got more and more jobs and got paid more
and more, it all added up. I only managed to do four jobs, but it
was great fun all the same.
The jobs I managed to do were:
Radio Station -Where we got to be on Kid Capital Radio!
Hotel-Where we kept hotel rooms all nice and neat.
Babies- Where we had to go in the hospital Baby Ward and look after all the babies.
Surgeon- Where we gave someone a liver transplant.
Overall, I really enjoyed my trip to Kidzania. I had a brilliant time.
