A Soliloquy from the Chief Alchemist
After studying a soliloquy from Shakespeare's The Tempest last week and learning all about the life of the Chief Alchemist of Alchemy Island, the children in Year 5 each wrote and performed their own soliloquy.
A soliloquy is when a character in a play speaks to himself or herself about their thoughts and feelings, therefore also sharing them with the audience.
We recorded our soliloquy as either a sound clip or a video on an iPad and uploaded this to the school blog.
