Covid 19 poem
Covid 19 is here. - Dissapointed
Infection globally. - Hand in face
I see everyone wear a mask. - Eyes wander everywhere
And self-isolating you see.
Doing all my work at home. Tapping computer keys
Without my friends beside me. - Look left and right.
I feel so lonely and bored. - Yawn and rub eyes
No fun spirit has even reached me. - Look up and then at chest
3 meetings everyday with my classmates. - Wave and say hi
That’s my only company. - Gloomy face
Apart from that I have my brilliant family. - Yay, happy face
I have meeting for the Maths with my friends. - Woohoo
And one for English too.
I also have a meeting for topic! - Rub forehead
I wish that there was another meeting except in reality. - Frustrated
I wish I could go to school every day and see Brynmill’s community. - Confused
I’m at a computer screen all day long seeing my friends virtually. - Look at computer screen
Every day it’s the same routine. - Boredom
Wake up and brush your teeth! Stretch, yawn and make brushing teeth sound
Then have breakfast and wait for a meeting at 9:30 - Clock ticking
Normally in school after Maths you have playtime with your friends. - Scratch head
But at home that play time is dull and lonely. - Drip, drip, drip.
Although I have a baby sister and a brother. - Happy
I play with them, that’s OK. - Happy
But I want to play football with my friends. - Kind of angrily
Just once will do. - Sad-ish
Just once
I miss my friends and teachers at Brynmill.- Slowly
Even the ones in a different class I still would speak to them.
I really want to go back to school with my friends not by myself. - Kind of angry again
At home the work is boring but at school the work is FUN. - Sad voice turning into an excited one
