Please read this story with your child and ask them to tell you what they think about the wolf’s and the pig’s behaviour! We are looking forward to finding out what their responses are on the blog. If you are unable to respond to the blog please send your child’s responses in on a piece of paper. This will support the role play and discussion tasks next week. Children in Foundation 2 have a range of tasks in their home study books all related to the learning theme. Please support your child to complete as many of them as you can to enrich their learning even further.

Next week the children will have a wide range of house construction opportunities, from natural materials to Duplo. We ask that this weekend you and your child collect sticks, no longer than 10cm, and bring them in to school on Monday. We are going to need quite a lot as we will be using them to build a house for a certain story character! The children will be talking about what the pigs would need to take in their suitcase when they leave home as well as making some salt dough pigs. In cooking next week we will be making sausage rolls and we will be talking about which meats pigs provide for us to eat. We will of course provide a vegetarian option for those children that do not eat sausage meat.
