Jam Tarts
Ingredients
- 65g caster sugar
- 175g butter
- 1 egg
- 250g plain flour
- 24 tbsp jam
- a dash of water
Instructions
- Wash hands.
- Preheat oven to 160 degrees and grease tray.
- Cream the butter and sugar together.
- Add the egg and mix.
- Sift the flour to make a dough.
- Roll the dough and cut out circles using a cutter.
- Press the pastry circles into the greased cups.
- Spoon jam into a bowl and add a dash of water and mix.
- Spoon jam into some of the unbaked tarts.
- Bake for 10minutes.
- Leave to cool.
