Should pets be allowed in class or school?

Many people in Crynallt primary have been discussing should pets be allowed in class. some pupils say yes they should be allowed in class but some say no they should not be allowed in class just in case it makes them worried. so what do you think should they be allowed or not?

The first argument is teachers and children learn responsibility for pets in the future if they decide to have one if they do they could look after it well than it being left on its own and bored and maybe not taking care of the pet and if they have it when they are in school they can learn to take care of it.

Also it could make a child happy and remember there medication like a guide dog they can train to do these things so if a child came in with medical problem and they had medication they can remember the child's medication and also it a child is upset or mad the pets like dogs or hamsters can make them happy and more confident.

Secondly it can teach children to keep the pets alive by giving them food and water each day. it could also build there conference if they are shy. if a child is upset or mad they could trust the pet and see that its here to help so it could help children learn better.

on the other hand in 2015 a group of sicentist did a search of how meany people were allergic to pets and the result shows that in 2015 30% of people in Britain are allergic to hamsters and other cage pets.

Also some children might be scared of pets so it might not be a good idea as it could make them not come to school or class so some say no but some pupils say yes.

How ever it could make them not come to school so they must move schools witch is not great for the old school they went to and it can also mean more schools close down so then more pupils have to go to a other school.

Over all there are lots of reasons for and against but in my opinion i think they should be allowed in class rooms because it can calm them down but what do you think should they be allowed? or not well this a discussion that could go on so should they be in class rooms?
