An Act of Kindness
Eva was a girl born with two left feet. It made her different from the other kids at school. She had no friends.
One day a new boy came into her class. His name was Mihal and he was from Poland. He sat next to Eva in Geography and looked very scared. Eva looked at him and said, "Don't worry, you can always talk to me when you don't feel welcome.". Mihal looked at her and smiled gratefully.
At playtime all the other children shouted at Mihal. They chanted, "Poley Poley do a roly Poley!" Mihal was really sad and tried to punch one of the kids. They ducked and Mihal went flying down onto the ground. Everyone laughed and walked off.
Eva saw what happened and felt sorry . She clumsily ran over and tripped on her feet and fell next to Milhal. They both laughed and knew they would became friends!
