Splat-atty-tat

The unfortunate rain from the dull grey sky,

The unfortunate rain hitting the ground.

The big catastrophic splat-atty-tat,

What a horrible, terrible sound.

Each raindrop from the sky,

Combines to make a puddle.

When their child gets wet in it,

It'll leave parents in a muddle.

All that water hits your house,

Hits the drain with a thump.

All that water soaks your coat,

Hits your head with a bump.

But water can be helpful,

Curing the cuts on your knee.

But still, what a splat-atty-tat,

It really isn't just me.
