What I did while everyone was at...

Sayers croft

On Monday I walked into Carver class instead of my original class which at the moment is Turing class and my teacher is Mr Panesar. When I entered Carver class I saw Mr Cook at the front of the class. On the board was a word grid that you could do or you could get something called Math's art I decided to do the Math's art instead of the word grid. Mr Cook explained that if you did something very kind or responsible you could get a raffle ticket and put it into a special box and at the end of the day he would pick out one name from the special box. He said that if you're name was picked out then you would get a prize from his prize box which was spotty. We also planted broad beans and peas in special pots that we could take home.

On Tuesday I walked into Carver class and Mr Cook said that we were going to talk about habitats and we had to list all the habitats we could think of and we had to choose our favourite habitat. I chose the Savanna we had to go up to the computing suite and find out facts about our habitat. He announced that we were going to make a habitat out of boxes and animals with a fact sheet stuck on the top. When I finally finished mine the teacher came and saved it but then it disappeared and I didn't have a fact sheet on my project. On Friday I stuck my animals that I brought onto the bottom of my shoe box together and it looked amazing.I also brought in real sand to stick to the bottom of my box with PVA glue.

We went on a school trip to the museum of London I was in Mr Cooks group I asked Mr Cook if we could have a group name and Mr Cook agreed on it he said that we had to each think of something that we wanted to call the group an tell him when we got to New Malden train station and we would have a vote there were a few silly names like the cheese burgers from the boys but we finally settled on my decision called the math matitions as Mr Cook was the maths teacher. At the museum we saw an Egyptian mummy who was 5600 years old and he still had some hair! When we got back Mr Cook said that each group leader could choose one pupil who had been very keen, responsible, patient, kind and was paying a lot of attention Mr Cook chose me so I got a prize from the prize box straight away.

On Thursday we had a vote on whose Math's art was the best and whose ever was the best got a raffle ticket. Mr Cook covered up the names and said that mine had the most votes. I got a raffle ticket although I didn't win at the end of the day. Mr Cook called us the Stayers croft as a joke!
